Maybe instead of a 1 to 10 scale, a simple designation such as: 1) very dissatisfied, 2)dissatisfied, 3)”I can’t tell whether I made the right choice”, 4)”I believe I made the right choice, but I’m not sure”, or 5) “I feel like this was probably as good of a solution as I could have chosen”

Or if these dont work for you, choose something better to describe it, but succinct.
