@good-intentions I wonder if Dr.Krpta is a good option for fixing recurrences too? I know someone from facebook group who had a bad experience with him apparently, now they are scheduled to go back with a recurrence and he said Mesh was gonna come back in via Open Incision.This gentleman had mesh removed like myself with Dr.Krpta and also recurred…[Read more]

@good-intentions but it seems the “gold standard” or most profitable is taking the easy route and putting mesh. Would be awesome if more surgeons learned tissue repairs and left it up to the patient to decide what kind of repair they want done and explain the pros and cons. Id take a 38 year tissue repair over mesh anyday.

@good-intentions Sure, maybe “All over the place” is an exaggeration but I recall Dr.Billing saying it has moved. It was Bard 3D MAX or something like that. I recall the 3D Max for sure in the paper work from 1st implantation surgery.

@good-intentions Good evening brother, sure I will try and summarize as best as possible. I had Mesh implanted back on May 12,2022 after suffering testicular pain on left side for a while, a CT scan showed the small fat containing hernias in the inguinal area. 1 week before lap surgery was scheduled, I started feeling weird tugging on my umbilical…[Read more]

Looks like my luck lasted 4 months, I tried to be as careful as one can be being the man of the house. Not lifting anything heavy or doing any crazy work outs besides just walking. I will be having revision Surgery, For those who know my story, I had mesh removed months ago. Scar tissue was holding things in place, But no actual tissue repair had…[Read more]

Just got back from ER. Dealing eith burning sensation on right testicle. Thought perhaps it was a urinary infection but turns out from ultrasound done “Questionable right Inguinal hernia” This is insane… Not a Yes or a No but questionable. @good-intentions Looks like revision is definitely what makes sense.

@good-intentions Ok so here it goes.. This afternoon I had my zoom call with dr.billings and it was great. He reviewed the recent operative report and said he can perform revision surgery no problem. This time we are taking a different approach, he advised that IF I have a recurrence when he takes a look, he will perform a repair via open incision…[Read more]

whats up brother @good-intentions long time no see… Was actually chatting with Dr.Billing a little while ago. In short, I was supposed to go back and have right side mesh removed as we had spoken back in January. I ended up going with Eduardo Parra-Davila here in West Palm beach since my insurance takes him. He removed right side mesh plus the l…[Read more]

@herniated and @good-intentions
Thank you both for the helpful advice. I have emailed Stephen Kwon and hope to hear from him soon. I may consider a consult with Dr. Towfigh if I do not hear back from Stephen Kwon in the next few days. I am also open to contacting Biohernia and the Desarda Clinic. One thing I am sure of is that I do not want mesh…[Read more]

@ajm222
– I don’t trust imaging reports. I look at the imaging myself and based on our own published study, 3 out of 4 times the imaging report is incorrect. So, I do not rely on a radiology report to determine my plan of care. Also, CT scan is not sensitive enough for small hernias which may be symptomatic. Also, the technique of the imaging…[Read more] -

Hi brother, to answer your question. I was never able to hear back from Belyanski when I reached out months ago and quite frankly got tired of waiting. Dr.Billings is a great person who really took my situation seriously instead of disregarding me and giving me the run around asking for 10 different tests. The reason why he was not able to remove…[Read more]

Just had my hernia mesh removed on left side Dr.Peter Billings here in Kirkland,WA. Same surgeon who did it for @good-intentions . We was supposed to remove both sides but looks like my left was very complex and had moved down to Testicle so no time to do right side. I plan on coming back and remove it within 6 months. I must say, great experience…[Read more]

@good-intentions Thanks bud for the tip, I will have my wife come with me for the trip.
