No was just curious if I had gone no mesh route how successful it would have been
Being classified as moderate -

But as a lay person not in medical profession I don’t see how the more you tinker
With something the more you wouldn’t weaken something
Just my opinion.
Why did u have your mesh removed
I have heard that when mesh is removed sometimes. The new tissue molded weakened tissues
Together and no need to do any more repairs -
What about a surgeon that does not do any imaging or ultrasound
Just cuts open does no mesh repair and then decides what type of repair he will do
Either desarda or shouldice once he cuts hernia
That is acceptable protocol
Thanx -
Very thoughtful of you doc, I am supposed to have surgery April 8
Called drs office no answer, called surgical center where procedure to take place
They are now closed, kind of shocked they hadn’t called me to tell me it’s cancelled
I have to travel 12 hours for operation and would have to have stayed in a hotel for a week
I am in extreme discomfort and sporadic pain -
dr Brown, what happens if you have Crohn’s disease get a tissue repair and it fails
To hold, what would be the next step to repair hernia
Can you get multiple tissue repairs or would it then be necessary to get mesh -
Not trying to be cute or funny, but if removing mesh solved a problem
Getting an erection or not would be the least of my concerns
Hope it works out for u -
Back in the old days there were no choices, just pure tissue repair
Seems like it worked then for plenty of folks -
I believe in my case I have a higher chance of reoccurrence do to having Crohn’s disease and enlarged prostate
The reason in my mind my thinking is if I go with shouldice technique and it fails, all that suturing and cutting of cremaster muscle would be for nothing, can you do a shouldice technique on someone again if it fails the first time
Another words a repeat shouldice technique -
Thanx for your reply, this might be a silly question but can you tell me which type
Mesh repair using open technique would cause the least amount of urological problems
For prostate issues
Thanx
