Seeking referral for doctor familiar with hidden hernias in women in Boston
I have been havingpain in my lower left abdomen/ pelvis for close to two years now. I have seen my primary care doctor, gynecologists, gastroenterologist, and a general surgeon. I have had several ultra sounds, two CT scans, an MRI and a colonoscopy. All tests and exams have come back as normal. But things are not normal. I am in terrible pain every day. I have gone from playing tennis 4 times a week to someone who can barely get around the grocery store. I have been diagnosed with IBS but have not gotten better even though I’ve been taking different IBS medicines for over a year. I spent a lot of time lying down with a heating pad
on my abdomen. I’m discouraged, in pain and missing out on my life.Can an someone recommend a surgeon in the Boston area that is familiar with hidden hernias in women. I need help!
