New nerve 5 months post op
Hey guys been a while since I posted. I had my inguinial hernia repaired open with mesh on August 27, around 5 months ago. Everything seemed to be healing fine, I mean it never has felt like it did before, I have had numbness in the groin area since surgery and minor aches and pains but nothing major. I’m an athletic young man and recently started going back to the gym regularly and lifting heavy again. Everything was fine but this morning I woke up with quite bad testicular pain, which went away after a few hours but a while ago I felt some burning pain in my groin area that was pretty intense nerve pain afterasturbation and now it has been aching and stiff feeling ever since. Do you think this is happening because I’m getting more active and lifting again? Has anyone experienced pain like this so long after surgery?
