    A surgeon hinted at this when visiting me, with the idea that he might have to repair both sides during laparoscopy…
    I am not sure I am understanding why a repaired side increases the pressure on the other side: once repaired the original pressure if at all is restored, although an hernia on the other side might just occur, while being unrelated to the first one…

    Any thoughts?
