    No mesh hernia surgery

    I had an inguinal hernia surgery in April 2024 using Shouldice technique. Sept 2025 ultrasound found, Left side Indirect Inguinal hernia: (lateral to inferior epigastric vessels) Hernia 1 . Neck: 0.4cm. Sac: 1.3 x 0.4 x 1.3 cm. Characteristics: Non-reducible. Contains fat. Do this hernia need surgery? Can I watchful wait?For a redo hernia surgery, I do not want mesh. Which of the following redo surgery techniques will be better? 1. Shouldice 2. Dr. Kang 3. Desarda 4. Bassini repair 5. Dr. Ulrike Muschawech repair? Your help is much appreciated!
