Can a hernia be caused/worsened by Varicocele embo
Varicocele embolization?
I had the embolization procedure done back in May and immediately after the procedure I felt this pressure in my groin. At first I thought maybe it was from the embolization procedure and it would get better but it has not and has slightly worsened with aching pain now. I have notice I have a small lump on the left side of my groin, almost positive it;s a hernia but I’m not a doctor, going to see the doctor this week about it.
Just wondering if you guys think this could have possibly been caused by the varicocele procedure

A- possibly you always had a hernia and that was cause of pain attributed to varicocele
B- possible that varicocele has recurred. 20-25% with embolization procedure
C- possible that small lump is a clot or coil from the embolization.I reviewed these with prominent urologists in this field.
