Hi, I had a colon resection in 2016 and three months later a hernia repair. I was okay until last year. I had a hip replaced in 2018. Several months later I started to have lower left side pain. I am curious if the hip surgery may have shifted the mesh. The pain can become so intense, sometimes I have difficulties functioning. I have seen several surgeons who refuse to take the mesh out.
I have done acupuncture, Reiki, injections, etc. Has anyone experienced this before. I need all the help I can get. Thank you.

You need a surgeon to carefully examine you to determine whether or not the mesh is the source of your pain.
Be sure that the hip is OK.
Diagnostic injections can be helpful to determine the source of the pain.
Imaging test are only occasionally helpful.
