    I am wondering what the difference between dissolvable tacks and sutures are as far as initial pain and/or chronic pain. I assume if they’re both dissolvable, would it matter?

    Also, how would tacks and sutures compare with non-fixation? Is there a preference for one or another?

    Would tacks and sutures allow for more secure repair since the mesh is less likely to move or fold?
