Has anyone had or does anyone know of a successful repair of a ventral abdominal bulge not involving penetration of the abdominal wall with contents. In other words an abdominal bulge which suggests a ventral hernia but without penetration of the wall and protrusion of intestines or otherwise. If so what technique was used. Thank You aunetic

I am new to this site aunetic so I do not have a definitive answer. I myself had umbilical with a ventral so called hernia repair 6/2016. It was mesh, rather large 6x8in. It has never been the same and I am also looking for an MD for possible correct abdominal repair with mesh removal. I am now experiencing slight pain in these locations. In my opinion I would NOT use mesh if at all possible! I wish you the best of luck!
