    Hi Dr. Towfigh,

    I am a 28 year old male who has had epigastric hernia surgery repaired via primary repair in 2013. I then had that repair fail and had the incisional epigastric hernia repaired this past April. Looks like it has failed again. Both repairs were at the Shouldice clinic. Neither repair involved mesh. Looking into a good Hernia surgeon in Michigan as I will not be going back to Shouldice. Wondering if you can recommend anyone? I am fit, don’t smoke, no trouble going to the bathroom so I assume I am genetically predisposed. I figure I will need mesh this time. Any guidance appreciated. Thank you.
