    This is a great recent interview with Dr Towfigh discussing hernia mesh, mesh removal, and hernia repair. It should be informative to anyone interested in this topic or considering any related procedure themselves.

    I was particularly pleased to hear Dr Towfigh state the following regarding training future surgeons in tissue repairs, since I personally believe it is critical that all hernia surgeons know how to confidently perform both mesh repairs and non-mesh repairs:

    quote :

    “I also teach my residents and fellows how to do a high-quality tissue repair, so that they can incorporate it in their future practices, too.”

    Once again, thank you Dr Towfigh for your hard work and focus on hernias.
