Low WBC
Having surgery on Friday for a femoral hernia and the CBC came back with low WBC. The surgeon said he does not see anything alarming in the CBC 5 or 6 categories were off, most just a little but the WBC was 3.34 with the RBC being 3.86. Just nervous about everything, but ready to be rid of this pain!

Low WBC
Thank you for responding! Platelet, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit were all good. My RBC always seems to trend low, but the last time I had WBC done (5 years ago), it was a 6.

Low WBC
Those don’t sound too bad. You should be able to go ahead as long as your platelet count is OK. But I would recommend seeing your family doctor to have it checked out.
