    Hello,

    I am just wondering if anyone on this forum has tried Lyrica for nerve pain? I know it is mainly for diabetic neuropathy but it has been recommended to me by a couple of doctors. I have heard it is very expensive however. I am currently on gabapentin but the side effects are a bit of a problem.

    Dear ARKJ93.
    If you are having side effects from the Gabapentin, then it is reasonable to try lyrica. But I agree that it is expensive.
    You can try advil three times a day. Capsaicin cream sometimes helps. Baby powder after your shower.
    A TENS is sometimes helpful. A nerve block is often helpful.
