Need abdominal wall reconstruction surgery – recommendation
Currently I have a fairly large post op incisional hernia causing discomfort and limiting activities. In December 2014 had a bowel obstruction which required going through an abdominal mesh placed 30 yrs earlier for a desmoid. The mesh became infected and was removed last March. After a lengthy healing process, now have developed this hernia and need abdominal wall reconstruction. My surgeon doesn’t do this routinely so I need to find an expert surgeon hopefully near me in Minneapolis MN. With my insurance I can go most anywhere but would prefer to stay close to home. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.
