Does anyone know of any Doctors in any of the VA’s? I learned that some surgeons could do it as a community surgeon for the VA. Has anyone done this? If so any tips on doing it? I checked with my primary Doctor at my local VA and it’s a hassle.

Not many that I know. I am now on the community surgeon list because there is a paucity of hernia specialists including those who do non mesh repair or that remove mesh.
