    What post-op med for pain is most popularly chosen? Has anyone found something particularly effective?

    I read they can last up to 72 hours.

    I also heard of pain pumps, but saw some good and bad about those. Maybe the bad was operator error by the patients.

    Dear Pinto.
    Ask for a TAP block. That will keep the area numb and you may not need any pain medications.
