    Since Phasix is made from e coli k12, I want to know if there is any possibility that the e coli k12 bacteria can activate while implanted. I tried to ask a doctor and he said that it is neutralized. Does that specifically mean that the ecoli is completely dead and there can be no possibility of activated/live e coli k12 causing an immune reaction?

    Phasix is not made from E. coli, it’s made by E. coli.

    Of course testing has been done on this synthetic material to assure complete sterility.
