Post hernia repair and narcotic use.
I regularly smoke, drink and smoke cannabis. I have stopped drinking and smoking and heavily cut back on cannabis. Have an inguinal hernia surgery March 27th. This will be an incision as its too large for a lap. (I’ve had this hernia for almost 9 years) what is the advice on using thc edibles during healing(post surgery). I plan to quit smoking altogether and not start back after recovery just wondering as I know it does thin your blood. Im not asking for medical advice or that you suggest I use an illegal substance (legal in my jurisdiction) and i dont plan on abusing it ive always been sensitive to otc pain medicine and especially NSAID class drugs. So I would prefer to use this medically and responsibly but smoking is obviously not okay as it damages your lining and the coughing hard could cause bigger problems.
