Question about reoccurance
I have a general question.. if u saw a hernia specialist for a hernia and suffered a reoccurance would u go back to him/her?Or look for someone new?

Yes, I would go back to the surgeon. He/she has more insight into what he/she did and so there are no surprises. They can make the best decision based on that knowledge about you.

That’s a tough question to answer about letting the first surgeon do it. How comfortable did you feel with him or her? Who diagnosed the second hernia? There are many top hernia specialist that you can find on this support group. Just Google your state and perhaps you can get some names of some top hernia surgeons to consult with. Which state do you live in maybe others on this board can chime in and give you some referrals. Wishing You well.
