Recently diagnosed with left inguinal hernia. Now worried!!!
Insure fecal test on Friday June 2nd showed positive for trace of blood in stool. Any connection with inguinal hernia? Stool looks normal, no blood at all. However I have read these can cause blood to be in the stool.
Any feedback from others would be helpful. Michael -

Hi, I have the same hernia diagnosis and have been like this since the end of February and wating for surgery in September.
I have not noticed any bleeding in my stools or otherwise.
If it’s only visible with a test this could be becouse of a small pile high up in the rectum or anal passage.
Unless your stools are black try not to worry. -
