Im currently 36 weeks pregnant. I started getting pain at the Left groin from 32 weeks onwards and it intensified after I attempted to do some exercises. I had done an open inguinal hernia repair a year ago without mesh. But now for four weeks I have pain in the groin area. But there is no bulge yet but only pain and it intensifies when I stand after sitting for a while. Could this be a case of recurrent hernia? Also I have a concern about me not being able to try for vaginal delivery. Could this hernia open up again during Labour and vaginal deliver As it’s without mesh? And should I opt for c section if so.
