Not sure if the inguinal hernia repair is going to take care of the pain on my right side. 5 wks still not great. Prior to the surgery my Dr said where I was pointing to seemed like a hip issue. Sent me for an X-ray … All clear and si joint unremarkable. Just had a cat scan yesterday. Would that indicate if there is an si joint issue?

Cat scan may show inflammation or fluid at the sacroiliac joint.

Hip is best evaluated with MR arthrogram.
