Tack removal
Hello. I had bilateral inguinal hernia performed laproscopically with mesh. Have nagging pain bilaterally with activity. Mesh was affixed with permanent tacks. Have been given the option of removing the tacks robotically for pain resolution with leaving the mesh in place as it’s already incorporated. Has anyone had this procedure, and if so, positive outcomes? Thank you.

Have to make sure the racks are the cause. I inject the area of the tack. If the pain goes away, then you know it’s the tack. Tack pain is very specific at one area.
