This guy doesnt even twitch when he says mesh is safe…so safe in fact that he doesn’t even warn patients – Sadly this is what they all told me. Chance of chronic pain 1 in 5000 said Dr. Carvajal. It makes me sad –I had my whole life ahead of me –vibrant health —about to retire –new girlfriend —and took it all away from me. My friend Tim got a similar spiel —unlike me he did no research –his doctor told him not to look on the internet –or you wont do the surgery. He did it for a tiny cosmetic hernia —in typical fashion was double meshed and destroyed. Dr. Towfigh —you have a lot of influence in the field —please use it to save some lives—stop promoting lap mesh surgery—except in cases where its the only option

The bottom line is if he couldnt use mesh —he couldnt work…like Voeller who pumped mesh on the net…then had his own hernia fixed at shouldice…sad
