Umbilical Hernia
I jad Lap Nissen surgery in 2008. Since then Ive had an outie belly button. Thought it was scar tissue. In November I got a job at Amazon. I work , bending and lifting. I have been diagnosed with an Umbilical Hernia. Does this cause discomfort? I feel I need to burp. Feel bloated. I eat OK and go to the bathroom fairly regular. Does the pain and discomfort in my gut be caused by the hernia?

Umbilical Hernia
Some of the symptoms you’re describing such as bloating in the need to burp are fairly common after a Nissen fundoplication. Pain in the area of the hernia is usually caused from the hernia. Fixing an umbilical hernia is a fairly simple thing to do and would recommend you see your friendly local surgeon to have it take care of
