Thanks for sharing. Any specific information about the mesh itself? Studies, research or anecdotal cases. I’m more interested in the outcome compared with permanent meshes, in terms of recurrence rate. Assuming mesh complication is not a concern. The hernia is rather small. Less than 1cm.
Thanks for the reply. Standard mesh implantation should be good for most cases? I see a lot of horror stories about mesh, mostly seems to come from mesh plugs? Is there some stats or data around what kind of non-absorbable mesh is least likely to cause problem considering that surgeons are skilled enough?
