I developed hernia pain 3 years after having my surgery . The surgeon said it was due to the titanium tacks. The pain came on as the result of over excessive pulling on a lawn mower starter rope. It took a number of months of no exercise before I was able very moderately lift, pull etc but I was never the same. Recently pain starting coming back after only very light lifting etc and how has affected my walking so that I get pain after very short walks. The surgeon said he would remove the tacks but does not know where the tacks exactly are located . He had a CT scan run and it showed “normal”. He wants me to use a sharpie to mark the pain points? Must be abetter way to find the tacks?
Any thoughts, insight. Thanks. Dave
