| Why do you want to join Hernia Talk? |
I’m in desperate need of guidance. I have had 1 hernia repair (J&J Prolene) in 10/2017. It failed 5 months later. I had a 2nd hernia repair 10/2020 (BARD MESH HERNIA PHASIX RECT 6X8) that also failed 6 months later. I had a 3rd hernia repair 02/2022 (BARD PHASIX ST MESH) and this too failed 6 months later. I had a 4th hernia repair 10/2023 (Bard Ventralex mesh 22cm x 27cm) and even though I still have pain and no feeling in my abs, it’s holding.
I have joined the Bard Lawsuit and my attorney is trying to get me to close the case with 25,000 settlement. I have been through hell and back through complications, long hospital stays (including ICU) and long recovery times. My thought is 25k is no where near a fair and reasonable settlement but I can’t find anyone to help since I have an attorney.
Any help or guidance would be very helpful.
