    I am bit nervous since I realized that I have bilateral inguinal hernia. My age is 38.
    currently I am in singapore and cannot travel back. consulted with 2 surgeons here , everyone suggests to have get it repaired with laparoscopic mesh repair to have faster recovery.

      At your age I would recommend bilateral repair via keyhole technique and with the use of mesh – mesh is an adjunct to surgery just like metal is to knee and hip replacements and also the stents for use in patients with heart attacks.       The radiologist is fine

      Any surgeon with experience in laparoscopic surgery will be fine

      Best to ask them

      In Singapore like the UK hernia is not a separate specialty
