I had my mesh removed by Dr.Peter Billings here in Kirkland,WA. I am actually here in a Hotel recovering before flying back home. Will be coming back in June to remove the right side since my situation is bilaterial inguinal. Apparently my left side mesh was very complicated to remove so doctor did not have enough time to do both sides on same day.

Just had my hernia mesh removed on left side Dr.Peter Billings here in Kirkland,WA. Same surgeon who did it for @good-intentions . We was supposed to remove both sides but looks like my left was very complex and had moved down to Testicle so no time to do right side. I plan on coming back and remove it within 6 months. @good-intentions All good brother, In my case I have a shit ton of pulling and tugging, its affecting me during intercourse, exercising. Also giving me testicular pain. None of these problems I had before the mesh.

How soon after surgery do you think is safe to fly back? I plan to stay up there for 3 days post Op.

I wonder if hernia mesh is removed laparoscopically, and tissue repair is to be done, will the tissue repair be done laparoscopically or do you have to have an open surgery during same time?
