I spoke with shouldice hospital last week . Up to the size of a grapefruit they are comfortable repairing. They also said if the hernia cannot be seen with a virtual consult you would need to be seen in-person.

Correction. Can I ask what your reasons were to us Dr. Yunis over Dr. Saybi or others? Thanks

So glad you’re doing well. Wow. Very informative. It seems that you did a tremendous amount of research. Can I ask what your reasons were to use Dr Yunis or dr. Sabyi and others? Thank you

I’m down to these drs as well. Concerns about cremaster/nerve cut as well as which suture is best. Some literature suggest the prolene stretches/gives a bit more than the stainless, but again not a lot to help make a decision as the cutting of cremaster/ nerve. Still researching .

Hello everyone.
Anyone hear of the Kugal repair?. I’m reading the mesh placement is the same as a laparoscopy but only local anesthesia and fast recovery too. Dr. Reinhorn at Boston hernias.
Here’s a link and comparison.https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19440788/
Hope to hear back from you all. Thank you and have a great day !!
