May be the following Dr. Towfigh video
has more information. In the middle of video, Dr. Ralph Lorenz
mentioned that Desarda tissue repair can be used for recurrent
hernia. Dr. Towfigh seems to think Desarda is an option. Also, at the
end of the video, Dr. Towfigh mentioned that a soccer player had
lichtenstein hernia repair (I think open surgery with mesh) and had
complications. Dr. Towfigh removed the mesh and performed tissue
repair and that was fine for eight years. Do anyone have experience
or more information with Desarda repair? Do anyone know if Dr Kang
repair can be used for recurrent inguinal hernia?
