Ironic – “Lightweight” Perfix Plug
You can always find something funny, even in the worst situations. Marketing people will do and say almost anything to get sales up. I’ve taken a marketing course and what they teach is kind of shocking if you’ve started from a background of honesty and hard work.
Who would even think about “lightweight” if they were inserting this crumpled up bundle of mesh in to a patient?

You are correct. The design of the plug with the multiple leaves makes it prone to becoming a meshoma. Being lightweight is not going to make and difference. It is only going to give me more work to do.
The mesh plugs are the most common type of mesh that I remove.

Many sea animals end up with their bodies full of plastic and they eventually die in pain….it seems we can include ourselves in this:(
