Another review of the state of the situation in hernia repair – 2021
I just came across what is basically a review of the various hernia repair techniques, misleadingly titled. Not sure why.
It is kind of bland and offers no significant recommendations except that surgeons should know what is possible and discuss things with their patient. Kind of disappointing, not really clear what its purpose is. It kind of looks like a new doctor’s attempt to understand what is going on. I think that the author might be in residency.
Anyway, it’s worth reading, I think. It’s what a new surgeon sees when they start their profession.
