Any experiences with Polyester hernia mesh?

Polyester mesh as a patient, surgeon, or happen to know someone who is one?
I might get one in the future; however, I’m seeing mixed results from research.

Medtronic products are typically made from polyester fiber. Parietex, Progrip, and Versatex are the trade names.

Those used to be Covidien products. Medtronic acquired Covidien in 2015.
