Any reason to be concerned ?
Hi all ! So a few days ago I found out the kind of mesh that was put it for my left direct inguinal incarcerated hernia . on the 28th it’ll make a month since the repair , so its fairly new . however I have a question , is it normal to have a lump that hurts where the mesh is ? There’s no incisions on the left side , they were able to make 3 incisions on the right and fix it that way , it hurts a little , not unbearable . also the mesh that was put in was ventralex . after much review , I have found that this specific mesh has 71 lawsuits pending , and many complaints , should I be worried about this mesh ? I tried looking up some info on whether its safe or not , but all I keep reading is how its caused alot of issues . any advice will be appreciated! Thanks in advance !
