Hernia repair in under-developed countries
I just became reacquainted with the efforts of the other groups through a recent post. Here are some interesting links to how hernia repair is progressing in other parts of the world.
Maybe, in the big scheme of things, it’s better than nothing. It’s hard to find consistency though. If they have trouble getting a hernia repaired imagine the problems they’ll have with chronic pain. Will there be pain clinics to get referred to? Probably not. Who knows.

Dr. Lorenz mentions non-mesh and mesh in his paper, linked below. The OperationHernia page is a bit misleading it focuses on mesh, not “help”.
