When a doctor performs high ligation on the Peritoneum and the ends are tied off, do they typically use an absorbable suture when tying it?
I am guessing the part that is tied begins to heal together afterwards?

I am trying to understand how this all works with a limit knowledge. If they tie it off with a permanent suture, it would create a permanent “choke” on the Peritoneum right? I am assuming that’s not good

    Thanks
