    I had open inguinal hernia surgery last year using the Lichenstein repair. For seven months now, I’ve had pain and discomfort along with hip pain. I followed up with the surgeon. She said she attached the mesh to my hip. Is that normal? She referred me to a hip doctor. I don’t have anything wrong with hip based on x-rays. I feel worse after hernia surgery and don’t know how to proceed. Surgeon didn’t seem like she wanted to help me.
