Is it really inguinal hernia
Hi. So my symptoms is i am having pain when coughing or doing valsava maneuver at my right upper groin area. No visible bulge but when i touch it i can feel a bulge and it hurts when i press it. I have a chronic cough due to asthma so it hurts every cough. I already went to a doctor and she touch it and make me cough and said she felt something and ask me to do ultra sound just to be sure. The result of the ultrasound is small hernia with no bowel involved so my surgeon recommends laparoscopic surgery with mesh but before I start my cough should be cleared first. Here is where I started my doubt. I went to a pulmonologist. My medicine are azithromycin, omeprazole, methylprednisolone, ambroxol, zykast. On my 3rd day taking this, the pain on my groin is gone and i think the lump is gone too when i use my hand to feel it. I search and there are some steroid on my medicine. Right now after a week all the groin pain came back. So hurts again when coughing and valsava . Is this really hernia. Pain gone using meds then returned??
