It’s my understanding that jogging with a potential small hernia (or two) shouldn’t be a problem, and may even help some. Just wondering if I have that right. Any circumstances where this might not be the case? Is it safer just to discontinue jogging for exercise and maybe walk briskly instead? And what amount of what should be avoided? I imagine using 15 or 20 pound dumbbells to work the arms should be ok, or is it? Thanks. Worried about doing anything at this point since getting a diagnosis of at least one small hernie and maybe two.

Jogging and weigh lifting are considered safe. In fact, most exercise is considered safe and encouraged.
