Has anyone had nerve injections for chronic groin pain after hernia surgery? I am scheduled to have injections, the surgeon said the was no reoccurrence of the hernia and said it’s likely a nerve that’s causing the pain. Just wondering if the injections work

He did not mention anything about mesh removal. He just said it was a nerve causing the pain

Is your surgeon claiming not to know of anyone that performs mesh removal? If they are willing to do an injection they must be aware of mesh removal. It’s mainstream surgery now.
