Dr Yuri Novitsky at Columbia University Medical Center in NYC, New York
Apparently he is able to perform virtually all types of hernia repair, including laparoscopic, open mesh, non-mesh Shouldice, mesh removal, recurrence, etc.
Just passing this along as information as it may be helpful to other patients.

He does not like plugs, as in the plug and patch method of hernia repair. He commented on Dr. Towfigh’s tweet.

Interesting that Dr Novitsky offers a Shouldice repair. I don’t see much about him in the forums. It looks like he was at the Cleveland Medical Center prior to Columbia NYC. Does anyone have any feedback or experience with Dr Novitsky?
