  I stumbled into a potentially helpful resource for European and/or Romanian based forum readers seeking mesh removal and/or possibly a non-mesh hernia repair:

  • Dr Alexandru Carap in Bucharest, Romania

  I am not sure of the extent of experience, or what types of surgery this Dr performs, nor the results. This information is based entirely on stumbling into a discussion on Twitter about mesh removal, so it is difficult to verify beyond that.
