• Ultrasound prep

  Hello All and @drtowfigh
  I’m getting an ultrasound this week to help to find out what is giving me discomfort.
  Any prep instructions to get the best imaging? I’ve gotten no guidance, of course.
  Do you fast before it?
  All the script says is “abdominal ultrasound”.
  The surgeon told me to tell the technician to get some images while I’m “bearing down”
  Any guidance is appreciated.
  I don’t want this to be an absolute waste of time and money.
