    As in the subject, can one continue to practice martial arts with a direct inguinal hernia, assuming pain is not (too) intense? Any experience/feedback?

    Well I think I got my hernia during a martial arts move and I gave it up for 10 years (it was the high kicks I was afraid of) one of the reasons I’m glad I got it repaired was so that I could go back to Martial Arts. I kept lifting weights during my ten year waiting period though.
