  • What happens with the hernia after mesh removal?

    When people have the mesh removed after IH surgery (say, a year or more afterward) does the hernia appear again, or is the scar tissue strong enough to close off the opening? And does that apply for all types of surgery? Don’t intend to have this done, just curious.
