    Did you find a surgeon in Minnesota? Also, who did you consult with?

    The medical professionals will all be done with you within months after the surgery. After that you’ll be just another file number that needs more procedures. More procedures means more business. Pain management, imaging, more operations…just more business.

    I realize this, I didn’t mean to suggest that I’d be settling for the first available doc, but there’s nothing at this point to suggest that Minnesota doesn’t have competent surgeons that can do a great job. I started this thread hoping that I could hear from folks who’ve recently gone through surgery and get there input on the types of questions to ask the surgeon in order to identify the one(s) I want to look for or any red flags I should take note of. Moreover, hoping some MN-based folks could chime in with a recommendation, if possible.
